Sometimes it Snows in April: National Poetry Month, Day 13

Did I mention the Minneapolis April snow days? Wednesday afternoon? Thursday late morning? Maybe I mentioned the unusually high number of people living in Minneapolis who had no idea that Prince has a song entitled, “Sometimes it Snows in April”? What a waste of April snow in Prince’s city.

The greatest thing about AWP is that you find writers who love your work as much as you love their work. There are few disappointments; the mutual love society of writers feels primal there.

I finally met poet Joshua Marie Wilkinson & what a delight to see him doing what he does well: promote the work of poets. He also does poem making rather well. Here a few to prove my point.
